A real dried rose bud — its petals still folded closed, its green sepals still cradling the base — preserved in its original three-dimensional form in deep pink-red. The bud is the rose before it commits to blooming: compact, private, and completely beautiful in its restraint. On a vermeil hook (gold-plated sterling silver).
