A molten-textured gold stud top — its surface folded and irregular, like something that cooled mid-pour — holds a large nucleated baroque pearl below. The pearl is rectangular in silhouette, its surface silver-grey and quietly iridescent. The gold top and the pearl below feel like they were always meant to be paired — both organic, both unhurried, both entirely themselves.
